We support and raise awareness for mental health through fitness and sport.

We donate 10% of all profits to the mental health charity, Time To Change.

Here at be defiant.® our main focus is to remain committed to raising the awareness of mental health and reducing the stigma around talking about it. We firmly believe that exercise in any form is hugely influential in our mental health and improving it. With that in mind, we specialise in supplying you with high-quality fitness clothing that won't let you down when you need it most, and what's more, we won't charge you the earth for it.

As well as fundraising for mental health charities through events and challenges, we promise to donate 10% of our profits to the Time To Change Campaign in order to help fund the raising of awareness. If you're passionate about mental health and enjoy exercise or sport in any form, then get involved, and head to our store.Whether it's a workout top, or perhaps women's workout shorts, we have something to help you achieve on the road to your goals.

Does physical fitness help with mental health?

In short, yes! Mental health can be improved by the improvement of your physical fitness. Studies show that as we exercise, endorphins are released within the body and as such, these play a part in improving mood and mental health.

It's advised that the average person should participate in between 75 & 150 minutes of exercise a week. This can include walking to the bus stop, running or doing housework. Exercise is classed as 'purposeful activity' and is recommended by all leading doctors, and psychiatrists.

By promoting personal wellbeing, which gives us a heightened of feeling of good towards ourselves, we can take the right steps to improving our mental health. Exercise plays a huge part in improving our wellbeing and giving us control of our life.
